My name is Elena and I am happy to welcome you here! The products you see on this website are more than just products. I loved knitting and crocheting since when I was a creative ten year old girl. I made a crocheted toy for my mother, something she carried with her everywhere in her purse! My gift for my brother’s 18th birthday was a crocheted 18-headed dragon! Growing older I developed an interest in knitting different styles of sweaters for myself, which I proudly wore to school…

That passion has continued with me as I have grown. I was pregnant with my first child when I started knitting and crocheting again. This time it was for this tiny person, my son, whom I was anxious to meet. And then the idea of Wear Cute was born. Right now my son is 11 months old, and what you see on this website is a result of my passion for knitting and inspiration from being a mom!

I am grateful to my son who has brought back my childhood passion into adulthood! He is also the model for boys beautiful hats which you see on this website. My friend’s precious baby girl is the model of our hats for girls.

I am also grateful to my husband for all the support and help that he has given in the process of launching this website. Special thanks to everyone else for helping me bring these gorgeous designs into life!
